School of Hope Foundation and St. Aloysius Gonzaga honors the memory of Cedric Asiavugwa, our friend, Board Member, Social Media Director, and so much more. His dedication, passion, huge smile, and loving heart are greatly missed.

Cedric was a third-year law student at Georgetown University at the time of his death. Before going to Georgetown in 2016, he served for a year as the Assistant Development Director for St. Aloysius. He died in the crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 in 2019 while on his way home to be with his wife after the death of her mother. We are grateful for his friendship, his service, and his life, and hold Cedric’s family and friends, especially his wife Linet and their son Jabali, in our prayers.
